Follow a healthy diet plan that has mostly vegetables and fruits, whole grains, and low-fat dairy products. Decreasing animal-based protein and eating more fruits and vegetables will help decrease urine acidity and this may help reduce the chance for uric acid stone formation. It increased the pH of my bottled water from 6.2 to over 8.2! The only caveat to this product is that it makes water taste fishy if you don't drink it within an hour.
